In order to protect the best interests of our volunteers, clients and staff the Diocesan Office of Long Term Recovery will not be housing volunteers during the hurricane season (June 1, 2009 through November 30, 2009).

Volunteers are welcomed regardless of race, religious affiliation or level of skill.

General Instructions:

Please complete all required fields. If traveling with a group, the group leader should be the first to apply. If traveling alone, please assign yourself a group name prior to filling out your application. Group leaders are responsible for filling in information pertaining to their group, including male/female ratio. All applications should be submitted as early as possible in order to best utilize your skills and time while volunteering with DOLTR. Due to scheduling of work orders, applications must be received no later than thirty days prior to your arrival. Please submit your application as early as possible.

Attention Group Leaders:

As group leader, you should be the first to apply. Please assign a group name and notify your team members prior to their applying online. Have each member of your group submit their application individually within seven days of your original application. It is your responsibility to verify that everyone in the group has submitted their application. This allows us to hold an adequate number of beds for those in your travel party. When completing their application, the group leader should list the group's approximate male/female ratio in the notes section of the online form.

Please note: due to project locations, large groups may be housed in different facilities. Every effort will be made to house members of a group together. If there is a change in your travel plans or group number, please notify DOLTR immediately so your reservation may be adjusted accordingly.

Remember:
